About Hilde
"A boat load of curiosity" is my usual answer when asked what brought me to Alaska. That was 25 years ago and I have been here ever since. It was just a few years later that I got into the mortgage industry. While working for a local bank in the mortgage area, I had the pleasure of traveling through out Alaska during all times of the year. Being able to visit so many diverse places in our State, was a shear delight. It also gave me a clear understanding of all the logistical challenges in home financing for Alaska's rural residents. At the same time, living in Anchorage allowed me to remain exposed to all the newest loan products and ever-changing mortgage infrastructure.
My business approach is focused on "Customer for Life". Your mortgage experience should be pleasant and fun. If you need flexibility or a tailored payment structure, let my experience work for you. Enjoy the confidence that you have the best plan available for your borrowing goals.

I hold the titles of Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP), having completed the School of Mortgage Banking and additional extensive requirements through the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. I have served on the local board of the Alaska Mortgage Bankers Association as Vice President and President for several years and am currently chair the education committee. In addition, I am involved with several Realtor Boards throughout the State.
My life has gone to the dogs! Whe n asked if I have a life outside work, that's my typical response. Soon after getting involved in the mortgage industry, I also got my first dog. He was about as strong willed and stubborn as his owner. So, I realized I needed help to shape his behavior into that of a good canine citizen. Before I knew what happened, I had two dogs, then three.... We enjoyed all kinds of different training venues and soon we were entering many types of competitive events. To this day you can still find me at Dog Obedience Trials, Agility Trials, Hunt Tests, Dog Shows, or just out skijoring with my dog in our winter wonderland.
